Nature Photography

There are two types of people – one that cannot stand bugs and one that admires them. It may be obvious that I admire them…but often from a safe distance. Dragonflies, however, I wish I could get closer to. Their incredibly vibrant colors leave me in a trance; it makes me wonder how many different colors the local dragonfly population really come in.
I’m going to let the photo speak for itself on this one. There are not a whole lot of words are necessary to describe how detailed and intricate these flying creatures are. In part, it reminds me of an aurora borealis in the color structure. It’s the only version we will likely be able to see in this part of the country, but that is okay with me.
