Red is a pretty standard color when it comes to sunrise and sunset presentations, but never in my life had I seen something that more reminded me of glittering embers in a firepit. It was well paired with tints of dark purple to highlight the beginning of a new day.

There are many mornings that I decide that sleep outweighs the experience of witnessing the real-time art of God. This particular picture was captured after a night shift and was the perfect time of year to greet the colorful part of the day.
